On August 28 (local time), the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards taking place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
BTS, BLACKPINK and SEVENTEEN have bagged big awards. BTS takes "Group of the Year" for fourth consecutive win of the award. While SEVENTEEN takes ‘PUSH Performance of the Year’ for their song ‘Rock With You’ which is the title track of SEVENTEEN’s 9th mini album, ‘Attacca’.
BLACKPINK attended the red carpet and gave a performance of their pre-release single “PINK VENOM.”
BLACKPINK also win the award for "Best Metaverse Performance" for their PUBG collaboration “Ready For Love,” and member Lisa won Best K-Pop for her solo “LALISA.
