ITZY become million sellers with their 5th mini album 'Checkmate' has sold 1 million copies on Circle Chart.

 

ITZY became a million-selling artist with the 5th mini album "CHECKMATE".

On August 31 KST, ITZY's 5th mini album, 'Checkmate' sold over 1 million copies which is released on August 15.

"Checkmate" has surpassed the cumulative circulation of 1 million copies of the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart) as of the afternoon of the 31st. As a result, they succeeded in achieving million-sellers and showed off a stronger global momentum.

'Checkmate' had previously surpassed the pre-order volume of 720,665 copies, and then broke its own best performance side-by-side with 470,2394 copies on the album aggregation site Hanter Chart (album sales for a week based on release date). In addition, the album reached No. 8 on the U.S. Billboard Main Chart, the Billboard 200, proving its worldwide growth.
